We want to reflect on the many communities you represent within this very classroom.

With Claymation, we will be able to create stop-motion videos with clay characters, props, and sets- all made by YOU! 

 

We want to know what communities you, as students, feel most connected to, and what positive impacts this community has had.

In this project, students will be assigned to groups to work together. Students will collaborate with their peers to create storylines discussing themes of community. After finalizing the storyline, students will create clay characters, props, and sets made from paper, carboard, and found materials.

​

Students will then film their stop motion videos- utilizing the Stop Motion Studio app, student will take pictures that will make up the 300+ frames that will create their movies. Students can integrate Title frames, Credit frames, and dialogue frames through creating written content on paper and incorporating them into their Claymation videos. We are excited to see your creativity, excitement, humor, kindness, and compassion shine through this project.

At the end of this project- as a celebration of all your hard work- we will have a viewing party with snacks and popcorn, where will watch all the Claymation for Community movies you all have put incredible time and effort into.
